The WICC Review - July 2026
As I sat here thinking about what thoughts I could leave my WICC Sisters with for the summer, I came across this quote. As I read it, I began to think about everything that has happened this year - the death of two close friends, sisters helping each other through hard times and sad times, through emotional times and happy times. We were there for each other. We not only served our community and helped to make a better and brighter world for them, but we served our sisters in many times of hardship and joy grandchildren, great grandchildren, weddings, anniversaries, retirements, sicknesses. We were there; we cared. As we relax, renew and refresh before the new year, don’t forget your sisters. Check on them, call them and enjoy their company, We will still be getting together for our social events - Scrabble, LOL, Good Grub, Bunco, Yoga, card making, walking, and Red Hats. Be watching for a fun fundraiser to Harrah’s Casino during the month of August. Thank you for all you do. Enjoy your summer and your families. See you in September.
Speaking of September, we will be hosting De Anza District’s Conference. I will be looking for members to help plan. Also, we are going to try something a little different with our meetings. Instead of lunch, since prices are so high, we will be doing a continental style breakfast. We will have a breakfast social starting at 9:30 (cost yet to be determined) and meeting starting at 10:30 and ending around noon.
Yours in Service,
Carol Conway
